Birthdate Shifts Back One Day for New Accounts (Daylight Savings)

When creating a new Roblox account, the entered date of birth is saved and displayed as one day earlier than what was originally entered.

This was tested in the United Kingdom only using Chrome on a Windows PC. I am not sure if other regions are experiencing this issue.

I tested with two accounts, one with a December 30th birthdate and one with a October 9th birthdate. The behavior was as expected for the December 30th birthdate but the issue happened with the October 9th account.

I believe this may be caused by the entered date falling under British Summer Time (UTC+1), suggesting a timezone conversion issue. Perhaps Roblox stores birthdays as full datetimes instead of date-only values, then misapplies a UTC offset when saving or displaying them?

Expected behavior

The entered birthday should remain exactly as entered (e.g, October 9, 2000).

Bumping this as the issue is still occurring. Just tested again today (June 2026) and new accounts created in the UK with birthday during BST (UTC+1) still have their birthdate shifted back by one day. This has been reproducible for over 7 months now with no acknowledgement or fix from Roblox staff.

Would appreciate any update from the team on whether this is on the radar.
