As a person inclined in astrophysics, I made Roblox render a black hole. I haven’t seen anyone else do it before so here’s a live demo:

Render Time est: 45 seconds.
Render Time est: 30 seconds.
Render Time est: 20 seconds.
What is the physics behind this?

You might’ve heard that black holes are extremely massive (mass, not size). Because of this, light near the black hole can bend or even orbit around it, causing visual distortions.
For example, although the image above has only a disc around the central mass, the black hole gravitates the light such that light coming off of the behind the disc can be bent to meet the observer’s eyes instead of going straight up (dotted line)
Which produces images like these:
(From Roblox Render)
(From Interstellar Movie 2014, using precise equations)

Caveats
Now of course, this is an approximation but a very good one. Using precise equations using General Relativity would require a supercomputer, and this is Roblox. The only problem is that the photons emitted from the screen change their speeds, which doesn’t happen in real spacetime.
If you’re interested in using this then maybe I can give the game file after some polishing.
