1. Getting Started
WARNING:
A very small percentage of people may experience a seizure when exposed to certain visual images, including flashing lights or patterns that may appear in video games. Exposure to certain patterns or backgrounds on a monitor/screen or when playing video games may trigger epileptic symptoms or seizures in persons who have no history of prior seizures or epilepsy.
IMMEDIATELY stop playing and consult a doctor/physician if you experience any symptoms.
These seizures may have a variety of symptoms, including lightheadedness, altered vision, eye or face twitching, jerking or shaking of arms or legs, disorientation, confusion, or momentary loss of awareness. You may reduce risk of photosensitive epileptic seizures by taking the following precautions:
- Play in a well-lit room and stay a safe distance away from your monitor/screen.
- Do not play if you feel tired or need sleep.
- Take about a 15 minute break after each hour of play.
- Avoid using a large monitor/screen.
If you or any of your relatives have a history of seizures or epilepsy, consult a doctor before playing video games.

HUD ELEMENTS
Health Bar: The Health Bar is the green bar located on the bottom left corner of the screen. If you take take damage, you will lose health, while using a healing item will recover health. Your Health Bar will flash red, as well as the borders of the screen flashing red, if your health is in a critical state.
Stamina Bar: The Stamina Bar is the blue bar located below the Health Bar. Actions such as attacking, rolling, blocking, running, and parrying will deplete stamina, which will regenerate by itself after seconds of inaction. You cannot preform any action that costs stamina, if your stamina is fully depleted.
Compass: The Compass is located on the top of the screen. The Compass tells you which way you are headed to in four directions, north, south, east, and west. The Compass changes in relation to the player’s position, not camera position.
Toolbar: The Toolbar is located on the bottom of the screen. The Toolbar shows you which tools are in your inventory.
Access Buttons: The Access Buttons are located on the top left corner of the screen. The buttons in order are menu, skills, map, and settings.
ENEMY HEALTH BARS
Throughout your journey, you will indeed encounter enemies throughout. Enemies have their own respective health bars, which come in different colors. These colors differentiate the strength of the enemy.
Green = The enemy is weaker than you.
Orange = The enemy is about the same strength, or is stronger than you.
Purple = The enemy is overwhelmingly stronger than you.
Red with Skull and Crossbones = The enemy can kill you in one hit.
Keep note of these to plan out your conflict!
These will be edited as the game continues the development.
