I’ve been build a lot lately in blender and I decided to step it up a notch. As you can see below I knife cut some runic symbols to halfway then I copied them on the other half. I’m not sure how to reconnect the vertices on the loop cut.

I pulled the symbols away to check if they were connected or not.
To take out a certain parts of the model, you can select them and press P and selecting “Selection”.
By reconnecting the objects, you require to press both of the models in the Object mode and right-click and press “Join”.
To join the model back inside that text, I would first of all remove the face it is covered by it, and just connect faces to that model by selecting the right lines to the lines you’re attempting to connect.
Using the Letter F, it will connect both lines that were selected, this can include more than just two lines.
If any of the responses given do not connect to the question of the problem, then I am sorry.
Yeah that’s just bridging I think. Not exactly what I had in mind. I have other methods I’m going to try to make the symbols on a separate face then use the knife project on the main piece. The method above didn’t work and I don’t feel like making the symbols over and over since it’s just for aesthetics anyway.
