Blender Model Glossiness

Recently got into modelling, not sure what the limits of roblox’s engine are when jt comes to importing blender textures. I’m trying to get my current model less rought and more metallic/foil looking. I’ve tried changing material and reflectiveness but it does seemingly very little or in most cases close to nothing. Should I (or can I even) do the texturing (with roughness and reflectivity) in blender and export it to roblox? Any and all help is appreciated, thanks.

you need use surface appearances or custom materials. They allow you to add a color map, roughness map, normal map and metallic (map? im not too familiar with the terminology) that should let you make the texture more glossy. Surface appearances only work under mesh parts though.

you can absolutely do the texturing in blender and export it to roblox. in blender, open the shading tab, then slide the metallic and other options to your liking.

After that, to export it with the textures u need to click export > export fbx and then select the options on the image below
