Blender > Roblox Import publish mesh part error

Hello!

I just recently started using blender and wanted to import one of my obj files that I exported from blender into Roblox studio! But it gives me a strange publish error:

Unable to publish MeshPart: .UnableToPublisho - Studio
Error while creating named asset: Could not upload MeshPart - Studio

I tried doing it with a cube that I exported from blender and even that did not work! I tried using a different file type(A fbx file) and still same error. But when I imported it into Photoshop 3d, it did work and the model that I was trying to import first was fine! I have also tried doing it via asset manager, but it just keeps on reuploading and failing.

I don’t know where exactly to put this topic.

I’m using a MacBook but that shouldn’t be a issue to do this stuff because when I tried importing it into photoshop it did work.

Kinda strange…

I did the exact same settings as everyone does when exporting an object from blender, the size and some other stuff. But it still gives me the exact same error.
On YouTube I can’t find anyone with this problem, neither on the forum posts.

Please help!

Try publishing your game to Roblox first? Also, is this error only occuring at the game you are editing, or to all of your places?

I have already published it, I’ll try doing it in a different place!

If it imports normally on other places, just copy the mesh over to your game! Cheers.

Aww man, still the same publish error . I guess it’s way more complicated.

Did you retry restarting Studio? Also, if possible, can I have the mesh ID so I can take a look myself?

How do I give u the mesh id if I can’t even create a mesh… Do you want me to give u the file of the obj?

Have you tried uploading it as a normal asset on Roblox, without inserting it in the game. But giving me the file can also work.

Object file or blender file? .

Object file. As long as it’s importing on other softwares, an .obj file will do.

Imported normally at my place,
for reference, use rbxassetid://6552667928 to import it in a mesh part.
Glad I could help! Cheers.

Thank you so much for the help! It probably has to do with my computer settings then. Maybe I have turned on a setting so roblox studio can’t use my files.
