Hey everyone - I’ve decided to open up the Remastered Pre-Pre-Alpha as a way to increase visibility of what is exactly going on and also generate some funds for the eventual launch. Here are the answers to some questions you might have.
WHAT IS PRE-PRE-ALPHA?
Pre-pre alpha is a version of the game where things get implemented. Imagine laying out all the ingredients for some food you were making. That’s sort of what’s been happening up until now. Pre-pre alpha is where you will see a lot of that stuff being implemented, as well as some new stuff too.
IS IT FREE?
No, it’s paid access for 1,000 robux.

Yeah, that’s to generate launch funds. I don’t expect people to purchase access en masse (or even at all) but this at least creates an opportunity to allow people to help with launch funds and see what’s going on at the same time.
Ironically, price will decrease as more stuff is added (probably decreasing by 100 robux intervals) and as the game gets closer to pre-alpha (it’s own separate stage)
DO I AT LEAST GET SOME TYPE OF BENEFIT FOR BEING A PRE-PRE-ALPHA TESTER?
Yeah, in subsequent versions of the game (ex: pre-alpha, alpha, beta, and full release) I can guarantee that pre-pre-alpha testers will be given some type of of reward for supporting Boston in this early stage. Here’s what I’m envisioning as far as benefits go:
- Access to every occupations (owning and working)
- Starting amount of some number of shillings upon subsequent releases
- Some type of custom pre-pre alpha tester weapon
- In-game identification as a pre-pre alpha tester (in-game and in Discord)
If that sounds worth it to you and/or you want to see progress evolve live/support launch, then consider buying access to the place.
HOW OFTEN WILL UPDATES BE?
Probably every few days/daily. Some will be drastic. some will be minor or behind the scenes.
DO TESTERS GET TO PROVIDE FEEDBACK?
Yeah, absolutely. There will be a special Discord channel set up, and I’ll be interacting with them pretty frequently to get opinions on stuff being added. They’ll also get more insight as to the eventual game plan. Their suggestions will be taken seriously and will have big impacts on the direction the game takes since they will be actually testing the game.
