Bricklayer - an all-in-one editor for AI-assisted Roblox dev (Studio + terminal + AI chat)

Hey everyone, full disclosure up front: I built this, so take the rest as a dev sharing their own tool rather than an impartial review.

I kept bouncing between Roblox Studio, a terminal, and a separate AI chat window whenever I was building with AI assistance, and it got old fast - copying code back and forth, losing context, never having everything in view at once. So I built Bricklayer: an editor that ties Studio, a terminal, and the AI chat together in one place.

What it’s for:

  • If you already know what you’re doing, it cuts out the window-juggling.
  • If you’re newer to scripting, you can use it more like a no-code playground to test ideas fast and see what AI-generated changes actually do.

This isn’t meant to replace solid MCP + script-sync setups (there are some great ones on this forum already) - just a different shape of the same idea. If you try it, I’d genuinely like to hear what breaks or what’s missing.
