Broken StarterCharacter, have no idea how to fix it

I would like my Starter Character to default to the player’s character, not this greyed out one. Not a custom Starter Character made by me, but the player’s choice.

However, I am constantly this greyed out default r6 body. I have no animations either. Also, this game was originally being created in an R15 format, which DID have working animations (Just the default roblox ones) but also was stuck in this greyed out body - but in R15 of course.

I have tried resetting, relaunching studio, messing around with startercharacter scripts, using my own animations to replace the lack of any, and still have no results. I am not familiar with scripting in roblox so my picking and pulling at random things doesn’t hold much value.

I have been having similar issue with studio since yesterday, seems like internal server error to me, since even datastore isnt working, and neither is any roblox game opening. Could be due to connection issue.

Hi, there’s a property in StarterPlayer named LoadCharacterAppearance or something along the lines of what, if you disable it, this same thing happens, try checking if it’s disabled.
