Been working on it for about 3 years on and off now.
I plan on releasing it sometime in the next few weeks and would like some final feedback on it, bugs, feature suggestions, ect

hmmmm. maps might need improvement, but, i cannot go both ways with grind rail. double jump should take you higher and still hold velocity pushing you more in the direction of which you are already traveling.
when i fall to my death in the void, it takes too long. speed pads need more speed boost

nice game concept though, but why does it HAVE to be a race?? why not ‘here are the maps. see what you want to speedrun?’
the music is a weird loop though.
and can there be more den 2 player in race?
swim animation is weird and wonky.
text ui isn’t always centered.
and races are too slow paced, i want to be moving a lot faster, like maybe 3/4 speed of grind rail and grind rail is faster.
water doesn’t kill on all maps? i didn’t know that…

shop should close on race start. all ui should clsoe on race start.
add arrows on the ground so i know which way to go
i do like the idea of sliding, but I’m probably gonna add it in another update since I would wanna design a map that makes use of sliding.
second, i feel like it would require a lot of work to make multiple courses for a map, but i’ll keep it in mind when designing future maps so maybe they can get more challenging.
third, the water rules are dependent on the map. You can swim in jowai just fine for example because it’s a nice resort where the waters are perfectly safe
However, a flooded and ruined place such as Gorda City or Batalia’s Warfields have unforgiving waters
The slowing down when double jumping is intentional so players don’t just double jump their way out of every problem they got themselves into
i’ll reduce the amount of places that kill you, but the invisible walls are probably going to stay in some locations because some can be used to REALLY cheat it and make it unfair for players (most of the walls are actually because of the jetpack)
