so i wrote a book and am making a game based on it its all about fighting,leveling up and getting new swords and abilities!!! here are some screenshots

I love the builds so far! I think the lighting definitely needs some work since it’s very bright now - try get an ambience that suits your game. The floor could also definitely use some layering: remember, in the real world the ground is never a flat plane.

Definitely some trees, rocks and bushes! I think custom character options with a japanese/samurai kinda theme would be really sick too.
that is what i was going to add next after i am done adding the finishing touches to the house!!
the samurai is a pretty good idea for some npcs thanks
how about some roads???
I feel like the roads could have some more “curves”, it might just be me, but the straight roads don’t feel right with the theme of your game…

a decent map layout but are those houses free models? the second image shows a house that im pretty sure is widely available in the toolbox
Yes they are free models the images were just to show the part-lighting I had made… This is a solo project and it’s very big the island you see is one of maybe 7 that i have to make so If I sat down and modelled every small details by myself this game will be releases maybe 3-4 years later!! Hope this clears it up

Yeah you might have to wait for that… When the map is done I’ll release it for roaming but the actual coding part will take quite long haha just like maybe 3-5 weeks I’ll release the map
Try using the Archimedes plugin to make the roads curvier.
What is the book that the game is based on about?
Well the book is not actually published yet so let me give you a little bit of what is in it…
In japan there lived a warrior named kanji who had injured himself in a previous war. Doctors said that it was hopeless to try to cure him but he did it. Now he goes on a simple mission to rid an island of some bandits… This would not be as simple as it seemed. This mission would end up with him facing the undead, a monster from the underworld, and meeting a god thought to be only a legend and gaining his powers… Sound cool?
