Roblox has recently added timed sale options, which is a useful improvement for creators managing large catalogs. However, many other important asset settings still have to be changed individually.
Creators with hundreds or thousands of clothing items need bulk tools for:
- Putting multiple assets on sale or off sale
- Setting or removing timed sale periods
- Updating prices
- Setting a minimum price
- Enabling or disabling regional pricing
- Applying settings to all assets owned by a user or group
- Applying default settings to future uploads
These options should support selecting specific assets, entire categories, or all assets in a catalog.
This is especially important after the recent Marketplace pricing and revenue-share changes. Creators may need to update hundreds of assets to maintain consistent pricing, but doing this one item at a time is extremely inefficient and makes it easy to miss items.
I was personally affected by an issue where all of my assets were taken off sale after the group owner was changed to an account without Premium, even though the threshold for items being taken off sale had not been exceeded. Premium was later purchased, but I still had to manually put every asset back on sale. With a large catalog, some items were missed without me realizing.
A bulk management system would make recovery from issues like this much easier and would prevent creators from losing sales because assets were accidentally left off sale.
The timed sale feature is a good step in the right direction. Expanding the same type of bulk control to sale status, pricing, minimum pricing, regional pricing, and other catalog settings would greatly improve asset management for large clothing creators and developers.
