Bundles Containing Obvious Accessories Evade Moderation

The catalog currently has users uploading bundles made after the game “Steal a Brainrot” which include accessories such as hats, shoes, and other attachable items. These bundles violate Roblox’s Avatar Bundle Policy, which clearly states that bundles should only include body parts, specifically the head, torso, arms, and legs and must not contain any accessories, layered clothing, or other attachable assets.

Despite multiple reports being submitted regarding these uploads, Roblox’s moderation system repeatedly flags them as “no issue,” even though they visibly break the rules outlined in the official policy.

According to Roblox’s Avatar Bundle Terms of Use:

“Avatar bodies cannot include any accessories or clothing. Accessories are items that you can find separately in the Marketplace that are not part of the body part requirements, such as equipable tails, wings, extra limbs, glasses, clothing, tattoos, and makeup.”

These “Steal a Brainrot” bundles, such as the ones uploaded by frenchrxses clearly disregard this policy, as they contain visible accessory meshes attached to the model. This behavior undermines fair competition among creators who adhere to the established guidelines and contributes to an inconsistent moderation standard within the Marketplace.

In the image above, the bundle labelled “67 Brainrot” is wearing both Shoes and Gloves.

This behavior is consistent with their other bundles which likewise violate the accessory rule, such as:

I can provide many of such examples, but creators such as the one below have persisted on uploading so many recolors to the point where this list would be hundreds of lines long. A moderator needs to manually review their catalog.

Expected behavior

A manual review of these bundles should be conducted to verify and remove any that contain accessory components. This includes all recolor variants, such as the Galaxy, Yin Yang, or other themed versions of the “Steal a Brainrot” bundles which exhibit the same violations.

Allowing these derivative uploads to remain on the Marketplace only reinforces the issue and demonstrates ongoing noncompliance with Roblox’s bundle policies.

Is this really necessary?

This seems kinda… petty?

First of all, if this logic was applied to roblox-made bundles, pretty sure we won’t see headless ever again or korblox, since they contain accessories…

Infact, i think there should be accessories included in bundles, maybe also disable the modesty layer in favor of randomized skin tones on the bundles thumbnail view for non-rthro ugc bundles, also it’s really weird how limiting bundles are, and to further expand, UGC as a whole is quite limited

instead of wasting bug reports on stuff like this, how about we expand upon UGC instead of limiting it with wacky restrictions.

to further add-on:

These out-of-place restrictions encourage the uploading of copyright un-original works instead of actually unique bundles due to how UGC Bundle restrictions work such as the modesty layer being forced onto non-rthro bundles, Thus forcing Original UGC Bundles out of the equation and influencing the uploading of copyrighted characters instead of being original…

Example:

The Terms of Service on Roblox and UGC bundles are much different, so I’m not sure why your comparing the two.

As for the reason accessories aren’t allowed, if bundles are allowed to have as many accessories as they want, eventually people will start to purchase bundles which are virtually encompassing of all items a user may want or desire, creating a demand void where people start buying bundles instead of all other forms of items as they come with everything they want.

This isn’t wasting a bug report, it’s making the marketplace fair for everyone else. It may just seem like I’m nagging Roblox for allowing these bundles, but there are real consequences when Roblox decides to neglect player reports. It won’t only affect the revenue of other creators, but in the end how the platform functions.

The second bundle you’ve listed in your post isn’t supposed to be up as it is wearing clothing and a mask which is considered an accessory. So, great job, you’ve proven my point here.

I’d like to point out something else before this thread dives any deeper into this issue; Other reports on these type of bundles do work. This is the issue. This account, for whatever reason, is immune to any reports on their bundles, making them the only person that’s able to evade moderation and upload these bundles which have visible accessories attached to their bodies.

This isn’t just me complaining about bundles, it’s moderation inconsistency.

I’m not exactly big into UGC bundles or anything and this very well may be a valid issue, but it took me just a couple minutes to find a bunch of other UGC bundles that would be breaking this rule you mentioned. With that being said, to me, this thread comes off more as a personal attack on one UGC creator than trying to resolve a bug. It would probably be most useful for the Roblox team if you edited the post to be more general and give examples from across the catalog, rather than only one creator. No hard feelings intended - just a suggestion.

I understand that it may seem targeted, and I can definitely see why you’d think so. From my point of view I see all these other Steal a Brainrot bundles being deleted (in good reason) which do the exact same thing, but this creators bundles stay up for what reason? It sets an unfair standard for the rest of the marketplace, and if there are other bundles that violate the accessory rule I’m not in any way against them being posted in the thread.

These Brainrot bundles are some of the bestselling bundles on the catalog which violate this rule which is why it seems like it was exclusively posted but there are definitely more which do the same.

(Such as: https://www.roblox.com/bundles/124457111067532/Hulk, https://www.roblox.com/bundles/150465413380246/Mini-Los-Orcalitos-Steal-a-Brainrot, https://www.roblox.com/bundles/390982/Living-Phone etc.)

Legs with shoes≠accessories
If I purchase the 67 bundle right know I won’t be able to wear the shoes without wearing the entire legs too. This would not create any demand voids, you’re just making stuff up. Is there really nothing better to report?

I don’t think you understand what’s being said here. This bundle could easily be split up into the main body, and layered clothing/accessories for the gloves and shoes. That’s how UGC is supposed to work. One bundle isn’t supposed to have every bit and piece otherwise it tramples on competition, and that’s where the catalog is headed.

Then the creator would have to upload both layered clothing and the naked weird version of the bundle. They still wouldn’t compete with anyone, because if anyone else uploaded these exact shoes instead of the original creator that would be against the TOS. You’re acting like an old man yelling at clouds rn. People adding shoes to characters that wear shoes and uploading them as a bundle doesn’t affect anything at all

I’m not here to argue about the rules, I’m showing obvious rule breaking and Roblox not applying their current rules systems to the bestselling bundles. This is the same system protecting ripoffs of Korblox and SSHF. If you’re on the side of these bundles you might as well let the catalog burn into a liquefied piece of trash. These bundles aren’t supposed to be up, moderators see the large amount of favorites and assume they aren’t supposed to take them down.
