I have a couple of big space frigates in my place that total to a little under 7,000 parts. If I select the first one and then shift+clicking the last one in the explorer, studio freezes for a noticeable fraction of a second. I assume this is because it’s looping through all of the parts in the model, calculating the size/origin of the selection boxes. Studio should cache these two items so that it doesn’t stutter every time some models are selected.
Studio also freezes for a split second when deselecting the models, and I don’t even know why this is a problem because all you’re doing is removing selection boxes – not recalculating anything. It’d be nice if this could be fixed.
