Can I create a new Roblox group using the previous name of an existing group after renaming it?

Hi everyone! I have a question about groups (or communities) renaming and name reuse.

I currently own a group named “PlayVille”, and I want to change its name to a completely different one. So, my question is, will I be able to create a brand new group with the name “PlayVille” afterward?

I understand there may be a waiting period or restrictions, so I’d appreciate clarification on:

  • Whether the old name becomes available again after a certain time
  • How long I have to wait before I can reuse the old name
  • Any risks or things I should know before doing this

I believe there’s a 30-day waiting period.
