What’s concerning me is the custom text that the user is allowed to input. Of course, because of this I’m sure that some users are inclined to inputting some inappropriate text.
Now, since the game is designed for only one person (Max players is set to 1), I don’t see it being much of a problem of hurting anyone. However, it’s possible the player can take a screenshot of the text they inputted and share it around. I’m just wondering if it’s more of a problem on the developers side or the players side.
Clients are allowed to see their own unfiltered text so long as it’s not possible for anyone else to see what the client put in. If they’re sharing a screenshot of what they made and it has inappropriate text, very unlikely you will be held against it as Roblox has no jurisdiction off-platform. Obviously, if it’s uploaded to Roblox for sharing, then moderation will take care of that - it’s a player issue, not a developer one.
You’re fine. Worst case scenario is just your game gets put under review and you’re asked to add filtering. Highly unlikely you will be moderated in addition to your game’s temporary closure if that ever comes to pass. Games being put under review are more akin to a tap on the shoulder than a stern warning, the kind you get where your account is deactivated until you check the box.
