I’ve been working on it for the past few days and it’s in a playable alpha state.
I’ve been trying to get it popular, but for some reason it feels sort of low quality and I can’t get people or myself to play it for more than about an hour.
I do think it needs a bit of a spruce up but overall is pretty good. You should defiantly update the maps and make them look prettier. I would also fix the maps that are impossible to win with a certain disaster. I also think you should fix the map selection where it keeps killing you. Instead make a lobby so it teleports you to the lobby then teleports you to the map. Overall very cool.
This game are good in the scripting and maybe you could make more ui design and it’s done as well and please make it more realistic. If you want to make it the game looks like blocky it’s ok. That’s just my suggestion it’s up to you.
you need better ui design. better disasters. better game mechanics and design + more ideas and things to do. also your main problem is that you are competing with natural disaster survival, which is kinda more well made than this. also your game won’t suddenly become popular in an hour (unless it does by like yt or something)
I like this game although there are a few factors that are unsatisfactory
I know lots of people above have mentioned it but the maps… they’re not that bad but they can be better you don’t have to change the blocky style ( I kinda like it) but make them better.
I don’t like the ui it’s basic and sorta boring
There are certain things about the disasters that I don’t really like I mean firstly in the meteor shower balls are falling you should at least make them kinda rough and … meteor-like. Secondly there are 2-3 disasters with just a walls coming towards you like the hurricane and Jupiter’s red spot I believe. In the falling sky one there’s this huge part in the air, it’s really confusing maybe make it transparent? In the acid rain mode there are bricks falling and maybe you should make them more like rain drops.
Another thing I would like to mention is that there is like nearly no probability of survival like I was dying on literally every round.
This idea is more of a suggestion but maybe you could have like a place where you could at least view all the items that you’d get in the game because I kept forgetting that and I really dint want to check it from Roblox again and again.
Lastly maybe you could have a leaderboard I don’t know if its a thing only I have but I like it when games have leaderboards it feels nice when you find yourself in the better players.
I quite like this game. The implementation of “events” in a disaster survival game is especially unique (although the one that disables collision damage is slightly overpowered in my opinion).
For me, the major hole in the gameplay is that many of the disasters require a high amount of luck to survive. The fact that disasters spawn immediately when their notification appears makes it hard to position yourself for disasters such as Hydraulic Press, and many disasters (especially Tornado) move far too quickly to be consciously avoided while they are happening. Luckily this is fairly easy to fix.
Regarding popularity, these types of games generally improve as they add more disasters to decrease redundancy. Personally, though, I find it very entertaining already.
