Can I improve this?

I’ve been working on a showcase that’s supposed to be a hillbilly type town, I’m just wondering how I could improve these houses?

I’d love some feedback, I don’t mind if you criticize the work done by me and my friend, as long as you give me some feedback I’m fine with it.

This reminds me of the scene from beyond two souls in arizona looks really good I recommend you think about how houses are made there and think about why they can be made the way they are made, for example does it have windows for air, or also does it have a porch that most of them have, you gotta think about it in an architect sorta way. That is what I would do.

Alright, thank you for the feedback. I will make sure to add the little features like a porch.

Make it a bit bigger, finish the deck with a tiny thing of stairs, and add decorations inside. Also, a backyard would be great!

So far it looks good, keep up the work!

Thank you for the feedback, I will definitely add backyards and more detail to the houses.

I really loved that house! you can try making different types of house.

You can maybe even create a “in construction” house, basically a unfinished house with some wooden things like stairs so it looks like its in progress (It can give a effect that the city is growing.).

Your house looks pretty good, try adding more details that could make it stand out a little more, including some sand grass on the sand area around it, and some stairs to enter the house.

@dxrkfeeIingsI Thank you for the reply, I actually do have stairs on the other side tho.

Can grass even grow on sand tho?

Oh, looks good. By ‘sand grass’, I mean something like this. It’s mainly for decoration. Try adding it around the front of the house and some near the back.

Here’s a reference image to show off most of the details:

It’s a alright house it’s just the house features different things that look unappealing. If your trying to create different houses that are in (hillbilly) try choosing siding or house material the build you made the siding isn’t connected into the house it kind of looks like it’s not properly put in correct.

I’ll just adjust it to make sure it lines up in the wall properly: you said it’s a hillbilly house you should include the objects surrounding the area if your using a reference image go from there it’ll be quite defical for you since your not making just a random house. Rusty props, cars, dry grass, and other accessories you got planned.

Try choosing the proper materials I don’t know if your wanting those houses that look all old and worn out try including stains or objects on the ground make it feature that feel your wanting.

Alright, will do. Thank you for the feedback. Everything helps.

I like it but I don’t understand why where I circled in the blue doesn’t have those shuffles I don’t know what they’re called but the part I circled in red does.

Due to the colour you can’t see them.

They’re actually there. I’m currently changing the colours of these houses and then I’m going to decorate and transform them.
With some colours you can’t see it but most you can.

Ohh! Sorry for the mistake.

No problem. I couldn’t even see it so I had to double check on Studio

I’d suggest either changing the colour of the window frames or adding shutters around them to make them stand out more. Right now the front of the building looks a bit bland
