I was wondering if I could edit Studio’s files at all to put my own place file in the templates tab.
Not there, but you can create your own template in a saved file on your computer. Then load it in from your files instead of from Roblox’s templates.

I don’t think you’re able to do that, the only solution to that would instead having a copy of the game you’d like to be used for your template and have it sit on your desktop, so you can access it at all times without having to launching roblox studio beforehand.
I think it would be really cool if you could but currently, no.

I guess not too many people make their own custom templates.
What’s different about yours that the blank baseplate doesn’t have?
I’ve just made it darker and easier on the eyes, but I’ve made a plugin now so I can change the baseplate.
