so i found in a game some images that they used in a menu but the player that has the images on his account is banned when i go to the player profile it gives an error so i am wondering if i can just use the images since 1. the player that owns the images is banned and 2 a other game is using it already
so can i use them or is it a copyright or something else?

So you’re trying to use an image from a banned account? It doesn’t mean the account was banned because of those images, it could have been something else. It just depends on the image then.
I wouldn’t, whether they are inactive or banned it’s still someone’s IP and/or copyright. Potentially the banned user had established usage rights with someone else who was the actual owner of the asset. Even if they are banned on or are currently unaware the asset exists on the platform the original creator can take legal action.
