Hey developers! I recently started developing a minigame place and I have decided on the name “Minigame Madness”. However, I have recently found out that it’s the old name of Ripull Minigames back from 2015. Do you think that I am allowed to use it? Will players who have played in 2015 mistake my game for that one?

I would come up with an original name that hasn’t been used before. I don’t see it being an issue if you chose to use “Minigame Madness” but it may be a controversial topic; players may have their own opinions on it.

If the name is and the logo looks good for the Player, the Player will join the game and play it! Because the name and the logo attracts the player.

Personally, I wouldn’t see why you would not be able to use it. Although, I would come up with a more original and better thought of name just for the long run.

Well since it’s the old name I dont see having a problem with it at all. Players have their own opinions though.

Yes, I believe you can use the name if you desire. However, just because you can doesn’t mean you should! The community likely will realize how you used a old game name and then accuse you of “stealing” or something like that. Personally, I would make my own name.

Ripull changed the game’s name so I don’t see how you could get negative opinions. Also I’m from 2015 and I couldn’t remember it until you said that was the old name.
