Can I Use Trademarked Game Names (or Variations) for My Roblox Game Title?

Is it allowed to use trademarked or copyrighted game names (or similar words) when naming a Roblox game?

For example, if a game already exists called Alien Shooter, would naming my game Alien Shooter X be acceptable, or could that still cause copyright/trademark issues?

its Roblox, i doubt a trillion dollar company is going care about a game on a platform with brain rotted children crying over blocky commodities from the trend of ‘bringing back old roblox’.

However its better safe than sorry, especially if the game has a lot similar things (very similar).

My game doesn’t look anything like a game called Alien Shooter. The only similarity is that you shoot entities with a hellish or alien-like look. I could name it Monster Shooter X, but word Monster feels very generic imo

As long as the game isn’t owned by do big studios or actual Roblox, you fine

Thanks. Why exactly Do Big though? Aren’t they just developers like us, or are they somehow tied to Roblox Corporation?

Copyright, trademarks, patents, and other Law By Mike knows stuff

Simply put, do big owns part of the games

I wish this was true. Haven’t you heard about what happened to Pokémon Brick Bronze?

Even though Roblox has a bunch of cringe brain-rotted games, those games make money, and when money is involved, companies care.
