So I had this idea of using a gas system which can eliminate raiders or hostiles in my facility I’m creating. It works by someone activating the gas release system which pumps into the main entrance area and the areas around it effectively killing everybody in that area.
Would this be against Roblox ToS as it uses a gas system?
No, as long as you use it in a non-eh, (looking for a word) way.
Games have it
Many people have done this before and let me make this clear for everyone: you can make a gas system as long as it doesn’t break any rules of the TOS.
Nope you shouldn’t break any rules for that as previously said, but I do think that this belongs in #help-and-feedback:game-design-support, correct me if I’m wrong.
I would consider it as a grey area of the Community Rules.
I highly recommend to avoid things like this because it’s somewhat against Community Rule 11.
As long as it doesn’t resemble the holocaust you should be fine.
Like rounding up innocent civilians and putting them in rooms to suffocate.
It’s really the context of the game. Who is getting gassed and what does the place look like? Also how sensitive is your audience and who is playing the game?
If it’s in the context of a PvP game then yeah. That’s perfectly fine because it’s PvP.
