Can someone teach me to low-poly build?

Hello Guys! I would really love to learn how to low-poly build using Blender!

But on YouTube all the tutorials are outdated and none of them seem to help. I have tried using some plugins but they don’t seem to help me at all.

I would like to learn how to low-poly build on blender then transfer it onto Roblox studio. I currently know the basics of blender but cannot low-poly build.

If you can teach me how to make it and transfer it to Roblox that would be well appreciated. It would help me in my career a lot as I am desperate to learn.

Thank you!

I started in February. I learnt by watching tutorials and following through. Try searching ‘Blender 2.8’ and it shows the 2.8 version of blender tutorials.

Few things:
To add a mesh ‘Shift A’
To Resize: ‘S’
To scale ‘E’
To add faces in the middle of maybe say a tree to ad a bend effect: ‘Ctrl R’
To move a mesh ‘G’

Can you low-poly build from blender to roblox studio?

Yes you can export and import. It teaches you that in blender tutorials.

How do you do that and what type of file do I export it as?

You export the stuff as .OBJ!

Alright, thanks I’ll try that now.

It says retying to upload and it says it’s failing to upload.

Have you tried importing your file from the Game Explorer?

Hmm… I think that’s just a common error. Try researching it up how to fix it.

Yes, I have and it says upload failing trying again.

Is it an fbx file?

No it was obj.

While importing files from blender I always use .fbx type. I am not sure if obj, would work but I can make some research on it.

Alright thanks.

Hey FlighterDeveloper. I have a model I used to use back when I started out. Here it is https://www.roblox.com/library/3345592393/Big-Low-Poly-Pack

P.S: Please give credit to the rightful owners, thanks!

Alright, thanks I will see if it is good for what I am doing now

Ok. Hope you like it. When you get better, make sure to use your own models though.

Yes, thankyou. I have a new devforum post that might help me solve my issue Here is the post.
