I wasn’t really sure where to put this, but this’ll do.
For about two years now, I have been completely unable to make sounds I upload public. This has gone on for way too long, and I just wanted to ask if there’s any way I can make them public somehow.
If you still can’t make them public, is Roblox going to update this soon? It’s been nearly two years that this “temporary pause” has been put in place.
Short answer is no, unfortunately.
Honestly? I highly doubt it. 2 years of absolute radio silence from them and I just can’t ever see it coming back - they probably can’t be bothered to choose between ensuring that moderation of audio uploads is good enough and dealing with legal issues if it’s not, so instead they just seem to have taken the nuclear option (as if the privacy update wasn’t bad enough) and are just ignoring the feature entirely.
It’s a shame. The Roblox uploaded audios on the toolbox are super inconsistent when it comes to quality, and have so many unnecessary tags that search results are always really irrelevant.
