Cannon with hingeconstraints suddenly shaking

I have a basic cannon with two hingeconstraints; one allows a full 360 rotation around the base and the other allows the cannon and its shaft to go back and forth

It’s been doing its job since around mid 2020 when I created it. Though as of a while ago cannons like these have been acting up.
They still work, but when idle they no longer remain at rest properly. Instead they subtle shake or ‘shiver’. Has anyone else had this happen to similar builds?

Changed nothing about them, which means something on Roblox’ physics end must’ve changed. Any idea what and how to fix it?

Took a while to figure out, but it seems to be related to the amount of torque the cannon sees.
Stange… seems like there’s been some changed to the behaviour there, as for years it’s worked fine :confused:


Fortunately enough lowering the MaxTorque made the cannon’s twitching less long, but when the shaft is moving the shaking’s still noticeable. When lowered too much the cannon becomes slow however…
