Cannot create a new group from Studio or Creator Hub surfaces, need to hop to player-facing website first

I want to create a Group on-the-fly without breaking my workflow on a new project.

I decided I want to start a new project, which needs to reside on a new Group. I have Studio open and realize I can’t create a Group from there, it only lists existing Groups I am a part of.

I hop to create.roblox.com and notice the same issue occurs there on the Dashboard.

I have to go all the way to the player-facing website to create a group and then go back to where I was to continue creating. I know this because I have been using the platform since 2008. There’s no indication AFAIC for someone to figure this out, probably off-platform devs coming onto Roblox find this confusing.

It would be convenient if there was a way to manage this without needing to step out of the tooling I am working in.

After creating the group, I need to restart Studio (or go through some other convoluted hoop to refresh the view’s data model) for it to pop up in the views. This is another not so great effect of the current workflow.

I wanted to comment that this may be addressed as part of the group overhauls, including color coded roles, group invites, in the Collaboration tab of groups in the Creator Hub,. It’s interesting that there’s exclusive features there while you still cannot create a group from the same surface.
