Cannot Regrant Verified Badge Despite Meeting Eligibility

I lost my verified badge because I was unaware that I needed to maintain my percentage in the game I contributed to. I have received my percentage back from that game for over a month now. When I try to regrant my badge, I am told I am ineligible, even while waiting for the next checkmark wave.

I believe it is unfair to lose the verified badge and be unable to regain it simply because I was unaware of the requirement to keep my percentage. I did not know about this, and I feel I should not be held accountable for something I was not informed of.

Additionally, I have not broken any Roblox Terms of Service. I have not changed my username or display name, nor have I disabled 2FA. My account still meets all the verification requirements, and my username and display name match as required.

Expected behavior

I should be able to get it regranted or receive it in the next verified badge wave

Me and my co owners are in the same situation, regranted our 10% but skipped this wave, and worried that it’s a permanent blacklist. it seems a bit unfair that legitimate users are punished for something that was not communicated properly in the TOS, while I understand the aim with this was to get rid of USD buyers.

Hopefully ROBLOX does do something about this but knowing their track record, likely not.

It’s really frustrating to be punished for not knowing we needed to maintain the percentage. I’ve had my percentage back for over a month now and am worried that this might be a permanent blacklist. This issue needs to be addressed or fixed

It’s worth mentioning that one of my newer devs (Who has not had their verified removed but recently started getting the 10% cut) got the checkmark while we were skipped, reinforcing my belief that it is a blacklist.

A theory is: The same group cannot be used to get checkmark again for you the same way (So you must either be the owner and not receive the 10%)

OR

Yeah.. its a perma blacklist. but we don’t really know. My co owner had their checkmark 3 months ago, while I had mine a month later, but we both got it removed + blacklisted on the same day. That’s where we’re at right now, if that extra information helps you think about some things.

My theory is that if we don’t receive it through the waves, they probably would allow regranting because we are eligible again, rather than simply being told, “You’re ineligible at this time.” I sent an email 3-4 days ago and am still waiting for a response to find out whether they will regrant it or confirm that I am “Ineligible” still
