Roblox Version 327 added server-side SetCore/GetCore methods to configure who can get free camera access, but because SetCore and GetCore must be called from a local script you can’t use them anyway.
This was an oversight. Still considering alternatives; the most likely solution is moving the freecam loader to the client.
