1. What do you want to achieve?
I want to buy ad credits with a card (USD) so I can run a small sponsored campaign for my experience, and I want it to show up properly on my group’s page.
2. What is the issue?
After transferring my experience to a group I own, two things went wrong:
- The experience doesn’t appear in the group’s experiences list (the group doesn’t have one at all actually?). Group/Community link
- In Ads Manager, I can no longer pay for ad credits with a card. Only the Robux conversion option is available. Before the transfer, card payment worked.
Converting Robux isn’t realistic for me, because buying Robux to fund ads costs far more than buying credits directly with a card.
3. What solutions have you tried so far?
- Read the Ads Manager documentation on the Creator Hub. It only describes the Robux conversion and doesn’t mention restrictions for group-owned experiences.
- Checked Payment Settings in Ads Manager for a card option.
- Looked through the group’s settings and experiences page.
- Contacted Roblox Support. The AI bot was not helpful at all.
Is card payment for ad credits restricted for group-owned experiences? Also has anyone seen an experience go missing from a group page after a transfer? If you did, how did you fix it?
