I have recently been accepted into the Early Access Server Authority program and once I got the notification that I was accepted, I went to my account settings and selected the program on my account. I haven’t played Roblox until now.
The issue is that I have now tried to play a few Roblox games but every single time I tried to join them, I received an error.
After receiving that error many times, I went to my account settings and deselected the server authority program. I once again attempted to join a game and it actually worked that time.
I am not sure if any of this is intentional but I’m just reporting it here just in case.
It says above the setting that you won’t be able to play on Servers that do not have the Beta enabled (all Roblox Player servers, and Team Create servers not started by someone with it enabled IIRC, not sure if it supports TC yet)
This is intentional, it’s just a really really awful design. It should be a whitelist-exposed studio beta, a separate downloadable studio, or a custom studio launcher configuration.
