I have an XBOX controller, and I can’t pan my camera in the non-custom cameras (attach, track, watch, etc).
That should hopefully be simple enough, I would imagine all that is needed is to implement it into the default camera scripts. I can reproduce it on a baseplate if that info is needed.
Controllers are only supported by the basic “Custom” camera.
Mind if I ask why this is the case?
All of the controller support is in the Lua version of the camera scripts. The other camera types have not been converted to Lua and remain only to provide backwards compatibility for existing games.
Developers now have the ability to take the existing cameras and customize them to include any behavior they feel is appropriate for their games. This we felt was a better option than trying to provide 6 or 7 default cameras that were close to, but not really what developers wanted.
Speaking of behavior that is close to but not really what devs want, what’s up with the Classic camera being the same as Follow camera when sitting in VehicleSeats?
