Hey everyone! So I’m co-developing a game called Lucid Lava, and we started thinking of making gamepasses. The game is a round-based sword fight game where you teleport to the map and the last man standing wins. The problem is that we can’t think of any to sell. An idea we had was to have 1.5x speed. Can anyone give me ideas for gamepasses that we could sell that wouldn’t be too op? Thanks!

well obviously VIP for better benefits including VIP chat tag and some perk that comes with the gamepass. maybe add 1.5X currency meaning more gold per second or per round completed for what ever game your making. Add some developer products that can be where you can purchase in game currency multiple times, or add donation gamepass where people can purchase a gamepass to support you. There is a lot more other gamepass ideas out there.

This is what I recommend a gamepass items that does nothing but are just for show like turkey that does not heal if so the game will be unfair for the people that are not buying the gamepass and I recommend to not make the gamepass op or the game is going die because people tried of pay win or something just don’t make gamepasses op as heck
Cosmetics and trading are a great way to not only increase income, but also average playtime (which equates to higher premium payouts and more of a chance to buy something). People love collecting cool pets and sword skins.
Another good way is boomboxes. Make sure to reprogram them so they don’t play a sound greater than (x) volume.

What about a double currency gamepass? I don’t know if there’s a currency in your game, but find something that all players can get without robux. The key to monetizing is selling convenience, not power. So simply allowing players to get something faster is good.
There could be a skin gamepass, for tools ofcourse. Maybe double health, jumppower, or even double jumping? Maybe some gears aswell.
Energy Sword or something that is not ordinary
I think double health, double jump, etc would give players an unfair advantage.
If the swords are using Roblox Classic Swords, then you could make a gamepass which you can get like a different sword,
or
a gamepass that you can toggle different sword “skins”
