Hey, i’m not a big physics guy and i need help distributing the weight of my physics car that moves by itself. When i set all parts to massless except the body (which is the primary part all other parts are welded to), it does this:
and when i set all parts to massless (or cosmetic parts, like doors and lights), it doesn’t move. The car is moved and turned with BodyVelocity and BodyGyro.
Why not just set all parts to massless, then add another part which is invisible and uncollidable, welded to the body of the car, which has mass? It would more uniformly distribute the weight.
Are you turning the car 90° with your BodyGyro.
You may be running into something called gimbal lock. It’s where you rotate something in game by 90° and the X and Z axes become the same orientation, which messes up the orientation of the axes.
Try using gimbal lock in the Search bar up top for solutions on how to stop it from occurring.
