There are such 2 player games with initial title “Carry a” in which players carrying something and doing obstacles. One player is carrier and other is the carried thing.
So, making a game carrying a aura box will be interesting to play or may not be ?
I have no idea what “Aura Box” means. What does Player 2 do? Do you have an icon or thumbnail that makes this clearer? Assuming Aura Box is literally just a box with a ParticleEmitter on it, this game doesn’t really sound fun.
Player 1 will carry the box and other player will be the box itself and there will be particular obstacles for each of them and they have to co-operate to clear those obstacles and reach the end.
How exactly does the player that is the box contribute to the obby? A box cannot do things on it’s own.
This is one of the dumbest game concepts I’ve seen on the forums.
What on earth is an “Aura Box” and as spork said, how the hell does it contribute to the obby?
Its as if you just looked at RNG games, said you don’t want to make an RNG game but you’re incapable of making actual good ideas so your brain spat out… this…
Seriously, if player 2’s job involves just existing, no input needed, then whats the point of having the box be a player? If the box moves whats the difference of it from just carrying a friend?
Literally, the whole “box” idea seems like something you came up with just to ATTEMPT to be unique and follow current trends, but as an actual idea, its unironically terrible.
The title alone just causes confusion, and you haven’t even given us any idea of potential gameplay, given you can even come up with good gameplay for this concept.
Like, what can you do? Put the box on a slide and go through a player only door to pick it up again, and then… nothing else?
Games like carry an egg work because the egg will break if dropped, and its on a tray so the egg is physics based, pretty obvious concept.
Boxes don’t break when they’re dropped. Boxes are also carried with both arms which makes them being physics based a really weird decision.
I genuinely can’t think of any actual interesting gameplay you could do with a box, and I’m still confused as to why it has to be an “aura box” and how that contributes to literally anything.
Literally one of the worst concepts on the forums. -3/10 would not play.
