When I search for “gold suit” I expect to see items which match both keywords, not either keyword. None of the first 5 results even include the word “gold” anywhere in the name or description, just the word “suit”.
Note that this isn’t an issue with misleading tags. That has nothing to do with this.
But then you would also have to break those hundreds of [tags] I put in all my models and clothing to get them more popular if you wanted it to be super duper accurate </3
I’ve always hated this issue. And why can’t I select Shirt, Pants, etc from the box next to the Search button? :\ I then have to click it on the left, the RE-ENTER my search.
While we’re talking about catalog search acting up, at some point you used to be able to use * as a wildcard (e.g. search “air*” and that would search for airplane, airfield, aircraft, airshark, etc.) but that functionality was removed. I hate having to do separate searches whenever I want something that could be either wood, wooden, woodland, wanwood, woody, etc… Wildcard was invented for a reason.
Noticed this yesterday while searching for “White Gradient” almost all of them were completely irrelevant to my search. Particularly when you sort by something other than relevance.
