Catoid: Humanoid Description Editor

A simple plugin to edit humanoid descriptions.
Allows advanced editing to easily edit, apply, or remove IDs!
And easily edit Body Colors and Scale!!

How To Set Up:

To properly download, make sure you clicked [Get Plugin]
Then in Studio, go to:
[Toolbox] → [Click the 4 Boxes Icon] → [My Plugins] → [Find Catoid] → [Install]

Next, even though the plugin does not insert scripts, besides creating one to check for script injection, the plugin needs script injection enabled for it to work.

If you declined this option, here is how to enable it:
[Plugins Tab] → [Manage Plugins] → [Find The Plugin] → [Click The Small Box] →
[Script Injection] → [Enable]

How To Use:

Firstestly, choose a rig with a HumanoidDescription or just a HumanoidDescription.
You will be greeted with a menu that has feature buttons leading to different description sections.
Some areas are obvious and already directed to you, but here is some additional info.

Main Menu Top Bar:

Besides the name of the rig are three buttons.

  • Lock
    Locks your selection, so you can freely select without the select warning keep popping up.

  • Create
    Creates a new rig based on the selected HumanoidDescription.

  • Rig Type Toggle
    Simply switches between R6 and R15 for rig creation.

Quick Apply:

In most sections the Quick Apply input box will be there.
You can use it to paste an ID or a list of IDs to have the plugin apply compatible accessories for that section. Works with bundle IDs too as it will apply the bundle’s items into the HumanoidDescription.

Item Previewing:

There are neat little ID boxes in accessory sections.
Clicking the ID boxes will show a preview of the accessory and a copyable ID of it.

Notes:

  • Adding or removing IDs DO NOT apply changes to the selected rig.
    That’s what the create button is for.
    I tried Humanoid:ApplyDescription() but it doesn’t put the accessories.

  • Speaking of applying changes, the Scale section will always reset the Humanoid Description for it to visualize the scaling. So beware!!

  • Scale only works for R15 rigs, and the button will disappear if you select an R6 rig.

  • Layered Clothing order prioritizes the highest number.

  • URLs also work when inputting IDs
