Cat's Trains Refurbishment Update: Stage 1 (V1.9)

Hello! It’s been a few months since the last update, but I’ve managed to finish the update just before the end of 2025! So this update will be the start of a chain of updates focused on refurbishment and revamping existing areas of the game. There are still many extensions planned for the future though.

The Refurbishment Update: Stage 1 (V1.9) Patch Notes

  1. Complete revamp of 12 Circle Line stations + tracks
    • A new Circle Line tunnel has been created that runs from Extension Road all the way to Northern Tunnel, and most of the old elevated infrastructure has been completely demolished. Each new station has a unique layout and/or design.
    • Every Circle Line station from F-S Intersection (now renamed to ‘Bank’) to Northern Tunnel has been completely rebuilt.
    • In addition, a new concourse and exit has been opened on Extension Road station.
    • The new PIS system has been rolled out to the Circle Line.
    • New corridors, ticket halls and concourses have been built at Downtown Road and Aviation Intersection stations for increased capacity and ease in transferring lines.
    • The old, elevated Circle Line platforms for First Loop Bridge station have been preserved! Also, there is a model of the old Circle Line platforms at Downtown Road station on display at the interchange concourse for Downtown Road station.
  2. A new map extension has been opened at the Northwest end of the map with a new station named ‘Silver Interchange’.
    • This station is the new terminus for the Orange Line.
    • In the future, a new Regional line offering access to even more destinations will be built.
  3. The Purple Line platforms for Southern Shortcut and University stations have been rebuilt.
    • A new corridor linking the Purple Line platform with the Orange Line platform at University station has been built.
  4. The Yellow Line platform for Catville Power Plant station has been rebuilt.
    • The platforms have also been slightly relocated. This new position allows for easier connections with the Circle Line.
  5. Expressway station has been renamed to ‘Express Parkway’.
  6. Frost - Southern Intersection station has been renamed to ‘Bank’.
  7. The time and version number UI has been relocated to the bottom right corner of the screen.
  8. New PIS board design slightly modified.
  9. Various additions, changes and removals around the map have been made.
    • Northern Tunnel has been slightly moved north to not interfere with the Circle Line.
    • New buildings and roads have been added to select locations.
    • Many other stations have also had some minor improvements, such as new signage.
    • Northbound Canal has been extended to the south.
