You can write your topic however you want, but you need to answer these questions:
-
What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!
I want to fix this issue. -
What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!
My model’s torso and chest have sorta “switched places” in the animation editor, in terms of animating them. Basically if I were to rotate/move one the other would instead and is becoming VERY annoying.
It only occurs with one of the parts- so one will be affected but not the other. -
What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?
Re-rigged, looked online but describing the issue in the URL is hard. I had this issue before and I sorta fixed it I think when I re-exported my model from blender. What is occurring now is: First, the torso was affected, but that was fixed when I played an old animation (that somehow still worked?) while the game was playing. Because said animation was from an old model, it hadn’t been affected it seems. Now the chest is affected- meaning if I try to animate it, the torso does. Because I don’t have any old animations that use the chest, I can’t fix it like that.
After that, you should include more details if you have any. Try to make your topic as descriptive as possible, so that it’s easier for people to help you!
I’ll probably re-export my model again, as all I have to do after that is re-add the humanoid and stuff and rename all the parts (which takes a while and is quite taxing).
yes I have exited and reopened studio, no nothing is anchored, there isn’t any script interfering and it has nothing to do with my current animations, including the priorities- just the editor.
I don’t/haven’t used IK animating, and can’t since it is a custom model/rig and I’m using Roblox Studio to animate.
If you need more/different info, please ask and I will provide!
I’m not 100% sure this is a bug or not, so I hope it’s ok if I put this topic here.
