Changing character Midgame

Hi so I’m writing a script that switches the character of the player on command, I followed gnomesCode morph video, however, what happens is that my old character appears inside my new custom one. Other players in the team test cannot see the custom character but can see the old one.

		local newcharacter = workspace.Monsters.MonsterCB.MonsterCB:Clone()
		
		newcharacter.HumanoidRootPart.Anchored = false
		newcharacter:SetPrimaryPartCFrame((oldcharacter.PrimaryPart.CFrame))
		player.Character = newcharacter
		newcharacter.Parent = workspace

Is the character the same as a normal avatar? If that’s the case consider using HumanoidDescription
