Changing padding of a UIPadding parented to a player's chat slows down execution of the legacy "wait" function

Parenting a UIPadding to a player’s “Chat” GUI with chat version “LegacyChatService” and changing any padding property will slow down wait’s execution. The task variant of wait is unaffected.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Join the reproduction game
  2. Press the “Add UIPadding” button

Expected Behavior: The timer should count up normally.
Actual Behavior: The timer slows down.

Hi just a quick update – this has been bumped up in priority and will be likely worked on at some point in 2024. Will update with more info when we have it.
