Sometimes, after resetting my character in the game, I’m unable to move except for jumping. I’m not exactly sure why this happens, but it doesn’t seem to be specific to me; others have mentioned the same issue on Reddit.
Fortunately, there’s a simple workaround. Opening the ESC menu usually restores the movement. Some users also claimed that unplugging their console from their PC fixed the issue. I tried that myself, but it didn’t work in my case.
Still, this might point to a potential conflict with connected consoles. I play on PC, and while I don’t regularly use it, I do have a console plugged into my system. That might be contributing to the problem.
