I’m trying to achieve this type of character movement showcased in the video (Similar feeling). How would I go about this?
Do I use BodyMovers, just plain changing position, etc.
Plain changing position is often rough, so it would probably be something like tweening
Probably BodyVelocity? I’m not an expert but I think you’d need to make ur own type of engine

By engine he meant your own movement system, just use BodyMovers; also theres some other stuff in the video which are just mechanics like running on the wall and whatever that black hook thing was
Were BodyMovers always that snappy?
If the P is set high and the damping is low yup, also for something like sliding youd want to have the bodymover be created and removed fast but have a strong amount of force to make it feel snappy but while still being smooth
can you give me some example values?
Well it could be a bunch of different possbilities depending on what your trying to make though, could be for a dash, jump, takeoff, slide, wallrun, grapple
you have to play with values until they feel right honestly
