for some reason, while i was playing, i noticed someone’s messages seemed off, theyre were saying stuff like “dsym” and “spawned” in some strange contexts, there was an ability to see chat logs, and i noticed, “bruh” turned into “brooo”, “wdym” into “dsym”, and “produced” into “spawned”. what is happening? is this a translation error
Game developers can modify certain chat messages and turn them into a different message. Rivals does this so toxic players can’t send toxic messages.
Ex: You suck! —-> Great job!
I’m not entirely sure what’s going on here, but this may be the cause.
I am certain this cant be the case, i typed the exact same strings and nothing happened. Also, why would they even censor these types of words?
