I was able to watch it and the character looks somewhat like kirby, you should take inspiration from older kirby sprite-sheets and make it look a bit more smooth, it looks blocky.

the character animations good for game idea(10/10)

animation is way too linear, it just ‘snaps’ back to place after the cycle is completed, you need more emotion in your animation, and rotate left to right on torso when moving. create more animations and replace default sound,

The games not even finished yet so expect the regular sounds to still be in the game, and the torso is inside of the head

I think it could be improved by rotating the body side to side to reflect the character’s spherical shape.
What do you mean by that in a simplified way?
