Chill Background Music

Getting the hang of things, we’re getting there we’re getting there. Anyway this is a small background soundtrack that you’d obviously loop to make longer. (Also would be better if the volume was turned down a little bit).

If anyone has a clue how to export the sound file to make it so the different instruments don’t sound so harsh that’d be awesome! As always any feedback is welcome. :sunglasses:

The music really is very calming to listen to! As for the instruments, have you tried editing the velocity (if your program allows you to do so).

I’ll try that out, haven’t really looked into it till now thanks!

As @AnimalBot99 mentioned, what you might want to look into is learning how to do basic mixing. The concept is there, it sounds nice, but the volume and how the different instruments blend into each other may lower the quality of the listening experience.

Conveniently, the FL Studio official channel just released a video tutorial that is very helpful. Check it out!

Wait… you’re using Garageband? The fiolin sounds like the Autoplay feature

Yes as much as I can play keyed instruments and ok when it comes to the drums, I’m clueless with the strings so had to resort to the autoplay for the cello.

If it was an actual song I would be releasing then I would’ve made a bit more effort to learn the strings, but for practice it ain’t that bad actually. (Also the notes on GarageBand just aren’t it, it’d be better to record a real instrument - less time consuming as well the little 4 call and and reply notes near the end took far too long for what it was).

Great ear by the way!
