Hey guys!
So back in 2019, I had quite a big ambition of making a story game as it was a new genre that was blowing up in popularity and people were starting to make their own versions. At the time, I gathered a small team of scripters and modelers to help with its creation. It was a Christmas themed story game where the players go to the north pole by train and upon arriving go to find Santa’s workshop and try to find out if Santa is real. More stuff happens but you get the idea.
Basically, the game never ended up finishing due to starting the project in December and the project has just been untouched for the past 6 years. Recently, I decided to go back and see what state it was left in, and I don’t think the map looks bad. I feel like I can use this as a base and plan out a new story and figure out how i’m gonna complete it next year.
Please take a look and feel free to share your thoughts and to give any suggestions! I would like to know if this is something worth trying and if the map needs to be either redone or just reworked. Thanks!
**Its just the map, no ui with dialogue and stuff. I will be expanding the map in the future but this is just what there is right now. Should I leave it as it is, or make things low poly and/or change materials? Lemme know.
