I’d suggest you do some research into some already-made classes in other games in roblox, or off-site. You can get some great inspiration.
Some pop culture icons like Anime have some great unique and new ideas you can take a look at.
I would urge you to keep your classes simple, but skill based. Keeping your magic to a simple element system (air, water, earth, fire, lightning, light, dark, etc) can help the game stay unique but relatable.
I would suggest you take some time and reflect upon what your end goal with these classes are. Are you trying to keep the game balanced, or will some classes have advantages over others? Will the archer be a direct counter to swordsman, but the bandit fast enough to evade their arrows? Take some time to reflect upon the end goal for your classes, and you’ll possibly find some great ideas that way.
Do some research into how other games work and how they keep a fair and balanced class system. I look forwards to seeing future progress on your roguelike.
Something I haven’t seen before is a proper intimidation type spell.
This spell would work on other players and or monsters with magic defense levels lower than that of the spells level. The spell would generally just stun enemies for a little bit, or apply a fear effect to whoever or whatever it was cast against.
The fear effect would just work as a general debuff during combat, making it harder for other players and monsters to attack you.
