Classic sword animations now compatible with R15

Hey everyone,

I have an exciting update to share. As of today classic sword models and animations are now updated to work with R15. We hope you enjoy hacking and slashing with R15 as we continuing our efforts to update all models and “gear”.

I made an animation for a R15 sword yesterday. Ahah I did a bad timing :joy: Thanks this will be so useful for my next game! :slight_smile:

Woo hoo, r15 enabled sword fighting games!

Will classic sword animations apply to all swords with the animations, or just the linked sword?

Any that used the classic sword animations will work! :slight_smile:

It doesn’t look like animations played in this way (parent StringValue to Humanoid) don’t cancel the idle state. Notice how the lookaround animation continues even after swinging the sword:

Also, head movement is a little weird in the animation. May be worthwhile removing it in the R15 version:
