Hi all! So I can’t post in feature requests so this seemed like the alternate place for this.
Im sure many of you have hit the same issue. You go to update a game description or post a group announcement and are met with:
“Your announcement does not meet Roblox moderation standards. Please revise and try posting again.”
You make changes, rewrite the whole thing multiple times, still this message persists. Can we PLEASE update this system to include what was flagged? As of now it’s a complete guessing game. If we can’t get detail in the error message, could we get the offending words/phrases underlined for us (like when you have spelling or grammar mistakes) so we can ID and fix the issue?
Thanks for your time. Ill provide of my most recent frustration. I tried changing words and rewrote it multiple time. Can’t figure out the issue.
The main reason Roblox doesn’t display information on why a shout is moderated mostly more applies to their goal of preventing bypassing; but I agree still it’s a bit messed up, and they could at-least identify category of issue.
I think what should happen at-least is a change at-least in response payload, considering all that gets sent back is a string that provides zero details on why action was taken.
Yes that’s why I currently try to do as well! lol it is very tedious/time wasting. Especially when it was something innocuous. Fingers crossed we get a QoL improvement to this sometime soon. Thanks for the response.
Yea so you see the issue then. We shouldnt have to waste 20 minutes deleting or rewording over and over to “guess” at why it was moderated. Our time is valuable. Would love to not have to waste it deleting one word at a time if we can just get at least a “smidge” more clarity for the moderation issue.
